Led by host Sophie Hellyer, soothe your mind with a short breathwork practice before embracing the wild outdoors with a cold water swim in Boconnoc's lake.

Think of it more as a dip, no marathon swimming skills required! Sophie Hellyer is a surfer, yoga teacher, and cold water swimmer. She founded the #RiseFierce movement to inspire women to try cold-water swimming.

This Wim Hof Method accredited workshop is about reconnecting us - to ourselves, to others and to nature.

What to bring:

  • towel

Out of precaution, we advise against participation during pregnancy, or if you are epileptic. People with cardiovascular issues, or any other serious health conditions should always consult a medical professional before starting the Wim Hof Method.

SAUNA SESSIONS

SAUNA SESSIONS

Finnish saunas are considered to have their own unique character, they retain energy and create loyly. The loyly enhances the experience.

This energy is first born with the craftsmanship of wood-fired saunas by ex boat builder Martin Dean from Kernow Springs. Your heart rate will increase to running pace, the temperature dilates blood vessels, reduces blood pressure, and increases blood flow to the skin and muscles. Under hot stress the body promotes a release of the body’s natural cooling hormone this allows the cells of your body to catch more of the endorphin hormone the next time you are exposed to an endorphin provoking exercise, such as an ice bath.

What to bring:

  • towel

Please note No under 12’s allowed in the Sauna. All under 16’s must be supervised while in the spa area by an adult (of over 21 years).

Stand Up Paddle board Yoga' is at Paradhis!

 We can offer six lucky people at a time the chance to experience this beautiful and unique practice, with four lessons a day to choose from, why not book your board today to avoid disappointment!

If you enjoy trying new things, being in and on the water, enjoying spaciousness and having the freedom to expand your yoga knowledge, you will LOVE this unique outdoor practice!If you are new to paddle boarding OR new to yoga, don't worry! 

With a slow and well thought out 'SUP Yoga sequence' incorporating light stretches and simple balancing techniques, Nay's Yoga can guide you through the practice at a very steady and relaxed pace.It's an absolutely magical experience! one which everyone should try at least once in their life.  

Included in your lesson: 

  • SUP yoga tuition
  • All equipment provided
  • On land warm up and safety briefing
  • Professional paddle practice
  • Qualified SUP yoga instructors
  • Personal attention on and off the water
  • Bundles of laughter and good feelings!  
  • Sessions last one hour including a 15 minute briefing
  • Maximum of six participants per session

Participants must;       

  • Be 12yrs +
  • Have a full range of body movement
  • Have appropriate swimming ability     
  • Sign a booking form including a disclaimer that the participant conducts the activity at their own risk.
  • The guardian of any participant under 18yrs must complete and sign the booking form by way of consent for the minor to participate.
